BE A STRONG WOMAN BUT......

....it's okay to ask for help when you need it!


In my life journey, I've stopped listening to anyone who tells me to be strong....and I've stopped telling people to be strong. 

It's very okay to show emotions. 

It's very okay to cry if you need to.

It's very okay to feel like giving up.

It's very okay to just want to curl up under the sheets!

Take all the time you need to heal. 
A wound that never heals is an ulcer.

A wound takes time to heal under a scab....hidden away from the elements.
It's okay to get away from the elements to heal properly.

A wound has a period where it bleeds and hurts. All this is necessary for it to heal properly!
It's okay for you to cry and hurt. You mustn't put up a strong front. It's not a weakness biko.


Don't be so strong that you begin to shatter.


Don't become so strong that you become a statue of your pain.

Don't be so strong that you forget how to be kind, soft, gentle, graceful and vulnerable.


Don't be so strong that you become apathetic.

Don't be so strong that you can't be flexible and open to new experiences.

Remember the stronger the coffee, the more bitter it becomes!!!☕
