I'd like to address an issue about hair typing.
There are 4 hair types according to the hair typing system and while it is helpful to categorise your hair and give tips how to manage flaws, it does have a flaw.
4c hair can also have tiny "s" curls too. If your curls are around the diameter of a pen spring or slightly larger, you could say you've got 4c hair....
Again, it cannot 100% predict how best to care for your hair.
